Group and Corporate Travel Tours
For small group travel or corporate travel groups, Central Coast Outdoors is the answer to getting your group outside and having FUN! For group travel tours, don't get stuck in a rut in San Luis Obispo County. The Central Coast has a whole wild and unspoiled natural world to offer beyond the traditional Hearst Castle or winery tour. And we can help connect you with that world. Being in nature doesn't mean you have to rough it, however. From waterproof lap blankets on our kayak tours to gourmet picnic lunches on all types of tours, we will pamper you as well. For incentive group travel or small group adventure travel, look no farther than an excursion planned by the expert staff at Central Coast Outdoors. School and Youth Groups
Our outdoors tours, especially our Morro Bay kayak tours, are also very popular with school groups. Central Coast Outdoors guides are well versed in providing an educational experience that is also fun! If your group has a special focus, we can also create a custom tour or outing for you.
Special Features for Business and Corporate Travel Groups
Suggested Group Kayak Tours
Our series of Morro Bay kayak tours are our best sellers, for individuals as well as for all kinds of groups, from corporate travel groups to group travel tours. They are perfect for incentive group travel as well. No kayak experience or special fitness level is necessary to go on any of our Morro Bay kayak tours, making them ideal for large groups of people with mixed abilities. We can easily put up to 50 people on the water at a time.
Our most popular tour! Spend a relaxing morning exploring the bay, visiting with pelicans and seals as we look for otters, herons and egrets. A fun dunes hike is capped off with an optional gourmet picnic lunch on the dunes that can include beer and wine. Click here for more trip information. A shortened version of the above Classic tour. Trips in the 1 1/2 to 2 hour range would omit visiting the sand dunes. Perfect if you are looking for a short adventure to fit into a busy group schedule.
Suggested Group Bike or Hike Tours
For small group travel or small group adventure travel for biking enthusiasts, our Edna Valley Tour is a sure fire winner. Bike tours down the coast are a great hit as well. Hiking is something virtually everyone can do and our Estero Bluffs hike is one that has worked very well in the past for any size group.

Group Tour Policies
We appreciate you considering us for your group excursion! Here are some more details of how our program works. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Deposit
A deposit is required to secure the space in our tour calendar. For groups of over 25 participants, this is usually 20% of the anticipated total. For groups less than 25, it is usually $15 per person. Guide Gratuity
A gratuity for the guide(s) is much appreciated, but entirely optional. Many groups prefer to add this to the invoice so the individual participants don't have to think about it. We usually recommend 10% of the total in this situation. Other groups prefer to have the tour participants make the decision about gratuity individually. Just let us know which option works best for you. Final Participant Count and Final Payment
We usually ask for final count and final payment one week prior to the tour date. Contract
For most groups we have a short contract form we use that captures all these group policies and information specific to your tour (i.e. date, prices, payment schedule). Confirmation Packet
After the trip is booked, we will send you a confirmation packet which will include trip start time and place, drive directions to trip start (if necessary), tour itinerary (including anticipated tour duration), recommended clothing and more of what to expect on the tour. Please distribute this packet to all participants on the trip. Release Form
Signing our Release Form is mandatory for all trip participants. Minors must have parents or adult guardians sign for them. Release Forms will be sent with the trip confirmation materials. We will also have blank copies of the Release Form available at the trip start. If you have a youth group where the parents or legal guardians will not be present at the trip start, please make sure the Release Form is distributed and signed prior to the tour. Cancellation Policy
If you cancel the whole trip for any reason (with the exception of bad weather - see below), the following cancellation fees apply:
Individual cancellations:
Cancellation Policy Due to Bad Weather (Rain or High Wind)
If the weather is bad on the day of your trip, you have three choices. First, continuing with the planned activities (perhaps with alternate activities worked in). Second, transfer with no additional fees to a date in the future. Third, cancel entirely with the full deposit cancellation fee. On kayak trips, if the weather is so bad that the guides feel it is unsafe to take the group on the water, we will cancel the tour with a full refund or with the option to reschedule for another day.
