All of our guided day hikes that feature hiking in Big Sur are guaranteed to be private exclusive affairs. Once we meet you at the start of the tour, we are yours for the rest of the trip. Our guides will cater to your personal preferences and can change the tour (within reason) to fit your needs. No one else will be on the tour. HIKING: Big Sur Ecotour (Family Friendly)

Hiking in Big Sur is one of the most dramatic hiking settings in all of California. And of all Big Sur hikes, our Big Sur Ecotour is a classic Big Sur adventure. We explore misty redwood filled canyons, waterfalls, rocky beaches and several intriguing historic sites, all in the span of one day! Using our company vehicle, your guide will drive you between the Big Sur hiking trails, leaving you free to admire the stunning views of the coast and watch for a glimpse of the majestic and rare California condor or perhaps even whales.

  

At Julia Pfeiffer-Burns State Park you will take several short Big Sur hikes; visiting a secluded rocky cove, several historic structures and a waterfall plunging to the sands below. Amongst these wonders your knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide will relate stories behind the scenes and lay out a gourmet picnic lunch under the redwoods.

Later in the afternoon we visit Limekiln State Park, where delightful trails meander among redwoods to historic limekilns. An optional side trip with stream crossings takes you to a spectacular 100' foot waterfall. This Big Sur eco tour is a great trip for people of all ages and abilities!
